Trying to decide to buy ipad or tablet or ipod touch?

I have a desktop and a net-book. I would like to buy one gadget for my upcoming international travel. Should it be a multimedia reader, a tablet, ipad2 or ipod touch? I do not want to pay extra dataplan charges, I am the market for a new cell phone too.
