What's the best Verizon feature phone, or multimedia phone. I'm not sure what to call it. Without data plan.?

I'm having to downgrade from my Samsung fascinate to something that does not require a data plan. Well, I know they all have data plans, but not like the one that costs 30/mo. I need something with a verrrryy good texting system. A superb keyboard. However, I know all phones aren't perfect. I know that just about all of them have fatal problems, like horrendous call quality, to randomly shutting off. I want something that doesnt have too many of those. Again, this is on Verizon.
