My Gigaware USB keyboard isn't being recognized by PS3.?

I've had this keyboard for about a week now, and its worked perfectly until today. I plugged it into the ps3 and it wouldn't respond (no flashing lights or anything). Its a Gigaware Multimedia usb keyboard. Any suggestions?
